Save as draft

the plugin only tries to give users a hint, if they are using a title that’s already been used, while they write new content. That could be on content with any status. It will not prevent you from publishing content with a title that is already being used. Saving content as draft as soon as the title is duplicate could result in content being “depublished”, which users would not expect. In the end, there is generally no issue with having two entities with the same title, as long as the content itself is not too simliar. Therefore a function that puts content to draft is out of the scope of this plugin. But as the functions that checks for uniqueness is public, you could write your own function to do something like this.
