• Hi everyone,
I am relatively new to wordpress development.
Can anyone please guide me how can I store am image as a new image, if an user edits(crops, rotate, resize) the already existing image. Because I have seen wordpress has it’s own workflow that it maintains some kind of history of the backup sizes in order to restore the original image. But I don’t need this backup functionality, instead I need to save it as a new image as soon as user saves an image after editing the image.

Any help would be highly appreciated!
    Thanks

  • One way to edit a copy of an image is to download the image, using the image’s File URL, then uploading it again and editing the copy.
