• I like what I’ve read about SASS as a means of generating and managing CSS. Googling “SASS WordPress” shows a plugin and a few articles.

It seems that very few themes include .scss files (the input to from which a SASS preprocessor produces .css).

Any thoughts, from developers or others, on questions such as:
    – how well does SASS fit with WordPress?
    – how likely is SASS to become more prominent in the WordPress landscape?

You can setup SASS in any framework, SASS doesn’t have issues with WordPress and vice versa. Setting up SASS is more to do with the developer’s environment than WordPress.
