this may be a general WordPress question, if so I apologize.

The search results are only returning one item. It was functioning previously and I’m not certain what changed it.

The template was updated. I tried using the previous version and still only one result. I disabled all plugins, still one result. I tried a search plugin and still no change.

I’m assuming it was the template update but I can’t figure out how to fix it.

I have searched for an answer but haven’t found anything that worked. I have no idea what to look at next. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

Let’s go ahead and check for conflicts – my guess is the site’s theme is at fault here.

First, you’ll want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then test. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

    Best,

    Ross

Thank you for your reply. I apologize for the delay in responding. I switched themes and still had the problem. I turned off all of the plugins and still…I have not made changes to the woocommerce template save the ‘price’. I have made no changes to the core WordPress. I uploaded a previous version of the template and got the same thing.

It does not make sense to me that the problem persists when the site bare bones so I am going to go through all of it again again.

the search feature is often used on this site so I am frustrated but it would be too easy if everything ran perfectly.

    Hi @karyls

I reviewed the issue and I see the search shows one product per search page:

    https://www.kinseyfamilyfarm.com/s/?s=outdoor

This can be managed from Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog using the Products per row and Rows per page options.

If that does not work, the theme likely uses the WordPress feature of “Blog pages show at most” located under Settings > Reading. Let us know if this helps.

THANK YOU John. That worked. It was so simple I would have never figured it out. I had not changed any settings so don’t know how it came about and would have gone in circles making things more complicated than they need be.

    I appreciate the help.
