    Hi
I am ‘trying’ to test your plug-in, but upon setting up PayPal the form asks for both Sandbox and Live API inputs.

But if my PayPal is ‘not’ Live = I do not have a Live API ID etc.

    What do I do?

    Thanks
    M

    PayPal point 3 says:

Make sure you’re on the Sandbox tab to get the API credentials you’ll use while you’re developing code. After you test and before you go live, switch to the Live tab to get live credentials.

Seem logical, why would I use the Live ones – also for safety!

    Hi @astr0wp and @felix997

Ideally, you would define API credentials for both live and sandbox modes. They are separate sets of credentials and once you got that done you can simply switch between live and sandbox modes at any time right in PayPal field settings in form editor.

This goes in line of what PayPal suggests because even having both sets of credentials configured, the ability to switch is always there built-in into the plugin right out of the box and you can easily test before going live. You can also switch back and forth between both modes at any time.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Yes, I agree now – I’ve got it !

Thanks for illuminating me – of course you can switch it on/off.
