    There is a problem that seems to affect at least one Samsung Galaxy smartphone user.

    The user completes the WordPress part of the registration procedure. Then he or she complains the screen freezes and clicking buttons does nothing.

    I am guessing a modal dialog comes up saying “you need to complete the registration procedure”.

    Perhaps the close button is obscured or does not work.

    Unfortunately I do not have a Samsung Galaxy phone to test this myself.

    Lots of other people manage to register successfully so this is a minor issue.

    I have just tested it with a new Samsung Galaxy Ultra. I used both the Samsung inbuilt browser and the Google Chrome one.

    Both worked perfectly with the Rencontre registration procedure.

    The only issue is that on the Samsung browser, the “Your profile is empty. To take advantage of the…” modal dialog box did not fit on the portrait orientation screen. The close X button was off the screen. I managed to close it by just swiping to move the screen so it was showing.

    Is this the problem? Do some Samsung Galaxy users complain the registration procedure does not work, just because they don’t swipe around to get the close X button to show?

    Or is the problem that some older Samsung Galaxy phones have the problem and new ones don’t?

    Or is the problem something else and nothing to do with the modal dialogs?

    This ticket can be closed. I think the user was not scrolling down the screen to see the “save” button.
