Sample Info of wordpress showing on Google Search

    Hello,

    I was wondering why all the wordpress sample info is still showing on google searches since I delete it and also edited all the meta tittle and description of all the info on the website.

    Hello @hohotototo

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I can confirm those pages show up in search results, though they throw a 404 error. This means they have been deleted and with time, Google will drop them from the index and will no longer show up in search results.

    Other way to delete them or hide them is directly by using search console?

    It can take up to a week for Google to index the changes you made, depending on how often they crawl your site. So, we’ll have to wait for Google to crawl your site again. Sometimes you can speed up this process as described in this article:?How to update information in Google search results
