    Hello,

I am testing the free version, so I imported a list of shops via csv, but it failed as the field in my csv were not corectly labeled.

This brings me to 2 questions :

1- Where can I get a sample of an import file ? ( I Couldn’t find one in the doc).

2- Do I have to import one listing for places, then one listing for users, then one listing for shops ? Or just one single import for all will do?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Create the CSV you need by exporting listings, as described here:

    https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/463-csv-imports-useful-tips

Each CPT will have a different export file, so, you cannot put more than one CPT into a single file.

GD does not import users, but, if you mean some sort of member profile that is a listing, then yes, you will need to add a sample listing for that CPT, export it, then merge your data into that exported CSV.

Hello, thanks you for your answer.

I have read the doc here https://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/article/463-csv-imports-useful-tips, unfortunately it doesn’t give any information about a mapping or filed labelleing to import mass shop in the directory.

The problem is : when I try to import a shop listing with names, adresses and emails, GD doesn’t accept it, the error message says that the fields names in the import file are not correct.

Do I have to follow a template with specific fields and colonnes ?

Moreover, is there a sample of import file I could start with ?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

If you have added custom fields the easiest thing todo is to add a listing the normal way with all fields filled out, then export it and remove the ID column. This will give you the perfect sample CSV for your site ??

Let me know if you have any issues.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
