Same theme, Same plugins on both sites but one lacks hover

    I and scratching my head as I have my personal website at which has its ajax/js (I don’t know the CS term for the hover functioning) stopped working from both the admin area and front.

    I migrated my content to a staging environment and with the same theme, same plugins, and settings, everything worked fine. This hinted to me that themes and plugins are not the culprits.

    Then, I installed a brand new WordPress installation on the main website and migrated the perfectly working content from stage to live. I also migrated databases. But when I changed the site URL from “options” from the PHPMyAdmin to siteurl (It was test.siteurl before), the bug reappeared!

    I don’t know what to you ?? Help!

  • I see CSS hover effects working all over your site. So I’m not sure exactly what “hover” or “ajax/js” feature you’re referring to. Can you direct me to which section of your site to test and what to expect?

    Also, the link you gave redirects to test.yourdomain.com. I’m not sure if this is the “staging” site where this “hover” is working, or this is the problematic site.

    Finally, I see some missing font-awesome-5-pro CSS file on your site. This is not likely to have any bearing on the “hover” problem you’re facing, but missing files cost you in speed, as the browser will spend time to try to fetch them, before eventually giving up.

    This is the exact problem I’m facing on smuneebali.com/ but I haven’t installed the upstream plugin etc.

    test.smuneebali.com is a staging website and the problem doesn’t exist on this website.
