Same quote loads with random shortcode

    Hi, I’ve just installed and started testing out your plugin. I have three test quotes and the random shortcode embedded on my page, but it’s always loading the same quote. I’ve tried clearing caches and loading in different browsers, with no result. I have disabled all unnecessary plugins for the time being, except for BuddyPress and WP Engine Smart Plugin Manager. Any thoughts on what’s happening here?

    I did make some progress on this by enabling the WP Engine setting “Allow?ORDER BY RAND()“.

    However, I need to find a way to work around WP Engine caching which is still keeping the same quote displayed on the page unless I manually clear caches in WP Engine. Emptying the local browser cache/force reloading the page has no effect.

    Perhaps ask the developers of that plugin if there is a way? I don’t know how their plugin works.

    An option to prevent caching for quotes is something I’m looking into. This isn’t the first time it’s been brought up.
