Hi! We think that when somebody buys more than 1 ticket all them share the same QR code. We’ve checked it and it works, because it allows you to validate the QR code as many times as tickets you bought, but we have two questions:

    1) is it possible to have differents QR codes for each ticket? We would prefer that

    2) and is it possible to print every ticket in a different page? I mean: now we have
    QR code ticket#1
    QR code ticket#2
    concert hall, etc.

    We would like to have:
    Page#1:
    QR code ticket#1
    concert hall, etc.

    Page#2:
    QR code ticket#2
    concert hall, etc.

    Thanks!

It is impossible for 2 tickets to have the same QR code. Each Ticket have it’s own unique QR code. Could you please send us a video or screen capture of this issue please. Thank you.

Hi, I see your QR code has the same Order# however I do not see where you have the same QR code itself? Where are you seeing that the QR code for these two tickets have the exact same code when scanned?

Hi! I don’t know if they are the same, but if I scan the first code twice, it works both times. This is why I asked if it was possible that the code was the same for both tickets. I’m not sure and I don’t know how to check it.

But I’m thinking about the possibility to scan the first code twice by mistake and then the second ticket would not work. It seems that when more than one ticket is bought in the same order, then you can scan any code as many times as tickets you buy. Is it like that?

And do you know if point 2 is possible? Each ticket in a different page so it would be easier to give the second one to a friend.

    Thanks!

The QR Code of the ticket is binded on the order. A customer buy 5 tickets in one order. It is totally insubstantial which QR Code of the 5 tickets you will scan. You can scan a ticket as many times as bought. The system only check how often the ticket is used. So coming back to the answer of the question, the QR Code ist unique for the order not for the ticket. For my opinion it is a security reason to create only an unique QR Code for the order and not for each ticket, but to prevent us for damage we print a note on each ticket that a ticket lose validity if we assert any attempt to defraud.

At the moment there is no option in the Backend to set a value that every Ticket has to be printed on its own sheet of paper. This is only possible if you change the code by yourself. Hardcoded it is no rocket sience. To build it into the Backend you have to dig a little bit deeper into code.

Think both issues are a good “nice to have” feature for the upcoming update.

Yes, it would be nice to have both.

I’ll check the code to change a couple of things. Thanks.-
