Same product title after changing from “simple product” to “variant product”

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

This most likely has to do with your plugin settings or feed configuration. Bear in mind though that product variations have the same product name as their parent variable product, that is standard WooCommerce behaviour. When however you have set your field mapping as following our plugin will add the attribution values that set the variations apart to the product name so they do become unique.

Just make sure to use this field mapping:

I know this, it shows correct and complete variant title for other “variable products”, it just doesn’t work on “simple products” being change to “variable products”

We have this simple product:

Change it into a variable product with two variations:

Using this field mapping:

Result in this for the product names:
