I try to use wordpress to manage a site using only the static page, but if I create two page with same title (but nested under two different parent pages) the output is the sum of both the pages.

    ie.
page1 has “test-page” as page slug and “page 1 text” as text
page2 has “test-page” as page slug and “page 2 text” as text

    page1 is a subpage of category1 and page2 is a subpage of category2

if I try to render index.php/category1/test-page the output is:
    test page
    page 1 text
    test page
    page 2 text

the same is for the page2!

    here an exampe:

  • I am having this exact same problem… has anyone ever come up with a solution to this?

No. Use different slugs. Note: the title and the slug don’t have to be the same! Even in the case of identical titles you can change the slug manully before saving the new post/page.
