How do I use the same navigation menu (the main admin site menu) across all new multisites created? I am using the twentytwelve theme.

Was able to do this in WordPress 2.8, but can’t figure out how to do this in 3.4.2 with the twentytwelve theme. Right now, my admin has 5 nav links. If I create a new site it has a home and a sample page navigation item. I want the new site to have the same 5 links as the admin (main blog) has.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Guys,

I’m using the network wide plugin, each menu item is a subsite.

I would like to give the current menu item a different style, but since the menu item is a seperate website it doesn’t have a current page or current menu item class. How can I fix this?

I cam currently using the switch_to_blog(1) method which works fine when I am logged in but when I am logged out problems occur.

    Home
    Menu Item 1
    Menu Item 2
    |_ Sub Item 1
    |_ Sub Item 2
    |_ Sub Item 3
    Menu Item 3

If I click on Sub Item 1 it takes me the page but then all wp_nav_menu displays on that page is.

    Sub Item 1
    Sub Item 2
    Sub Item 3

I need it to display the full menu. Not the sub-menu. I feel I am going to have to just either hard code the menu or add the same menu into each sub-site.
