“Same Link Limit” isn’t working

    I set the same link limit to “1” so that there is just one link to each article; however, it is not working. In my articles, I have several of the same links going to the same URL.

    For example, in the article https://homecarezen.com/freezer-not-working-but-fridge-is/, there is an auto keyword for the keyword “refrigerator” to the URL https://homecarezen.com/refrigerator-leaking-water/.

    …then, I scroll down and find another keyword “refrigerator” linking to that same URL https://homecarezen.com/refrigerator-leaking-water/.

    …I then scroll down some more, and there is a 3rd link to that same URL.

    How can I make it so that there is only one external link to an article in each article – not multiple showing up (I only want one).

    Here are my settings:
    -Link Frequency: Custom Value
    -Max links in every article: 7
    -Same keyword limit: 3
    -Same link limit: 1 (I only want 1 of the same link per article)
    -Link distribution: Random`

    Hello. Can you send a screenshot of your General Settings page and send it to contact [at] autoaffiliatelinks [dot] com. Also, please try to add a bigger number, for example 100, it is still showing links in the first paragraph ?

    Hi Lucian, my issue was not that links are showing in the first paragraph. I think that was another person who commented. My issue was that the same link was appearing several times. However, the issue has been fixed when I changed “Same keyword limit” to 1 and “Same link limit” to 1. Before, I had it at 2 or 3, but was showing more. After I changed the same keyword limit and same link limit to 1, is all good now. ??

    One suggestion though. Comparing with a setting I saw with the plugin ‘Link Whisper’, it would be nice if your Auto Affiliate Link plugin had an option for “number of sentences in between links”. This way, a paragraph won’t have several links within it. For example, you could set the “number of sentences between links” to 6, and so there won’t be a link within 6 sentences of one another. Just a suggestion.
