Same email address for plugin and contact form recommended?

    Hi

    I am using “Other SMTP” with an Office365 email account (something like [email protected]) on a website running the Divi theme. Initially I used the same email address as recipient in the Divi contact form. Works fine. While testing around I was surprised to find out, that any email address can be used in the contact form (even Yahoo) and still everything works fine. – Is this normal behaviour / recommended or would you suggest to rather use the same email address in the plug-in and in the contact form?

    Thanks for reaching out. Yes, the recipient’s email address (email sending to) can be any email address. The Sender’s email address (From Email) should be the one you’ve authenticated in SMTP.
