Same domain URL with language query string not redirecting

Hi,
I am using WPML and ip2location redirection plugin in my site.
I would like to redirect the site to different language based on the country.
say https://www.test.com should redirect to https://www.test.com/?lang=zh-hans
when i set this URL the site is not redirected.
Where as when i provide URL with different domain say https://www.test.com to https://www.testcn.com it is working fine.
Please help to resolve this issue.
