SAME domain DIFFERENT HOST

I need someone to tell me how to move my WP entries to my new host. I dont mind the layout and stuff, I just wanna keep the records of my blog. I saved the sql file (is it the gz file??), so what is the next step?

can i install a new WP and do something about the database thingie?? HELP!!
