• Hello there,

I use a business directory plugin in order for me to create a Business Directory. What i need to do is to have multiple instances of this website per area. So, if for example i have mybusinessdir.com i need to have subdomains like this:
    canada.mybusinessdir.com
    newyork.mybusinessdir.com etc

Now, on each mini website, i need maybe different theme, different widgets (for example i use a map widget and i need this widget to have different settings to each mini website) but i need the listings in the business directory to be unite in one database. But, inside each mini site the user will see business directory that i filter for him to see and all not areas.

Is this possible somehow? If yes, with which tools?

    Thank you in advance

if you’ve got quite a few to operate then look into the mulisite features of wordpress. it’s a complex field but it would offer you the option of creating as many sites as you need that you can administer from one location.

or you could use just one site and split it into sections and create new template files for each section to make them look different.
