Same day events, how are they ordered?

In the case were multiple events occur on the same day, in Agenda view, how are they ordered. It does not appear to be by Post Date, and I fear that it is by ID, which is impossible to change.

Can anyone confirm?
Is there a work around at all?

At least if it is by Post Date, these could be modified to achieve an outcome.
