Same course appears in both parent and child module

    Here’s what we’ve done and what the problem is:

    1. We have a course, one module is too large so we decided to split it into child modules instead.
    2. We added two child modules. We then opened all the lessons from the module and set their module to the according child modules.
    3. Now, when we open the course up the same lessons are appearing in both the parent module and the child module….

    We’ve tried everything to resolve it but the only way has been to not use the parent/child module system, just make separate top-level modules and then use some CSS to make them look like child/parent modules afterwards…

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for reaching out. A module is used only to organize lessons within a course, similar to a category. One lesson can only have one module lined to it, i.e., on Viewing the Course detail page or in learning mode, a lesson appears under one module only. A lesson should not appear under multiple modules.

    Now, when we open the course up, the same lessons are appearing in both the parent module and the child module….

    Is there somewhere to privately send the screenshots rather than posting them on a public board?

    The same lessons are showing in both the parent and child modules. It’s very frustrating.
