Same Countries in Different Zones

    Hi,

    We are working with 2 shipping companies DHL and UPS. These companies have different zone groups for each country.

    For example:

    Albania is in the Zone 2 for DHL : Shipping Cost=10 USD
    Albania is in the Zone 3 for UPS : Shipping Cost=15 USD

    So I have created Zone 1-2-3-….. for UPS and DHL.

    I have 7 zones for DHL, 9 zones for UPS. That means each country is in the 2 different zones to show customers to prefer.

    When I select Albania, at the checkout page, It shows only 1 zone. But I need to show 2 different prices to customers. When a country is in the same zone (Exp, DHL zone 2, and UPS zone 2), that’s no problem for me. But one country is in the 2 different zones, that does not work.

    Hi @farukomer34,

    WooCommerce calculates shipping based on a first match basis by default. Thus, only the shipping methods in a shipping zone that first matches an order’s shipping location will get shown to customers.

    That said, I would suggest having one shipping zone for each country you ship to in WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping and placing both DHL and UPS in the zone. The WooCommerce shipping zones should not affect the different zones used by individual shipping methods to calculate their costs.

    With this approach, WooCommerce should pick a shipping zone with both DHL and UPS methods. From there, the two methods will still do their respective calculations independently and show the relevant shipping costs.

    I understand your explanation, thank you very much. But, the main problem is that.

    UPS and DHL zones contain different countries. For example:

    USA: Zone 1 for DHL, Zone 2 for UPS
    Georgia: Zone 3 for DHL, Zone 5 for UPS

    So how can I combine UPS and DHL in the same zone?

    All shipping companies have different country list in the different zones.

    You should be able to add the 2 methods in one shipping zone.

    Example:

    – Zone 1 (Georgia) having both DHL and UPS.
    You will make sure the hierarchy is sorted correctly, for example if you have country and region, you will place country on top of the region.
