Same conference between local website and online website

    I apologize in advance for my English.

    I created an accessible website via a local area network and an accessible website via internet. These two sites are identical. The only difference is that the one has an local address and the other one has a public address.

    Then i created on my local area network a Ubuntu 14.04 server where i installed bigbluebutton.

    I installed the plugin BigblueButton on my two websites (local and on-line) and i can create meetings of any site (local and on-line) but the people do not join in a meeting which have the same name.

    How can i do that ? How can i create a meeting of people coming from my local or on-line website?

    Is the BBB server accessible from the external network? I mean from the Internet?

    The BigBlueButton server must be accessible to the users and also to the server where you have WordPress/Plugin installed.

    If the users are able to join sessions into you BBB server from either WordPress servers (internal and external), then I misunderstood and you may want users to join the same BBB session coming from either wordpress server/site. Is this the case?. (This is a feature called “shared rooms”).

    is: you can’t because even though they have the same name, they have different meeting_id.

    You would need to modify the database and alter the token in one of the servers to make them match.

    So no, shared rooms is not a feature implemented/supported by this plugin.
