Same button works on most pages, not some

    Hi,

    I’ve got several product pages and they each have files to download. I’ve created two buttons (one for spec sheets, one for catalog). One is maxbutton id=”1″, the other is maxbutton id=”14″. Now, id=”14″ works on MOST pages, but there are a few where 1) the button has not shown up at all or 2) the button shows up but doesn’t link to anything.

    The code I have is like this: [maxbutton id=”14″ url=“https://sitename.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/ECO-R-IES-Files.zip”]

    I’ve been over and over the code but can’t for the life of me find anything wrong with it. Can anyone help?

    BTW, I put a different url in the maxbutton shortcode on each page, so it’s one the same button on each page but each instance of it goes to a different url.

    Solved! I rechecked and found that the quote marks at the start of the url were not plain text. Made the change and it works!
