Sorry folks, but Google-ranking load-up times are identical to not installing

      ANY

cache at all, especially on our test eCommerce site.

“Zen Cache” appears surprisingly good though, & “WP Fastest Cache” actually is sometimes 1+ sec slower than no cache at all.

  • Hi, can you provide some of the settings you enabled in this plugin to get no cache results?

    Thank you

Thank you for your 1 star rating and you report that “Google-ranking load-up times are identical to not installing”.

What the hell does it mean?

Which tests did you make? Could you at least report the results of you test, the blog address where you installed the plugin, how you made tests? Which plugins are you using in your blog?

Your post seems more an advertise for another plugin than a rating of hyper cache.

Do you mean the thorough testing consisted just of “Google-ranking load-up times” (probably “PageSpeed Insights”?)

Google is just one thing. At least try something like Webpagetest. This will give you lots of additional information that can really help you to set up caching (and other things) properly.

Insight evaluate the page rendering, the page serving time is only a little part. There are more complex chaches which minify css and js and that can improve the insight rank. If you have such needs, use w3total cache, for example, or install mod_pagespeed in your server.

You can also use the following plugin Autoptimize to minify all your css and js files in combination with Hyper Cache ??

    +1

    I’m using the same combo.

And with the latest hc-release autoptimize & hyper-cache are an even better combination, thanks Stefano!

    What exactly has been improved?

Hyper Cache now “listens” to Autoptimize’s cache being flushed, in which case HC will also purge it’s own cache to avoid having HTML which refers to non-existant autoptimized files.

Thanks. I always thought this should have been already the case, since once I found some lines in AO’s php related to Hyper Cache (and other caching plugins). But I also noticed that it didn’t work.

it didn’t, indeed. the way it is solved now is way better, for starters because it works ??
