    Hi, all!

Trying to generate sales by product for Q2 and Q3. All of our products that have variations have unique variation names and SKUs. But in the analytics section reporting sales by product, two of our products list the parent name with no SKU multiple times, which I am assuming is the sales of each variation, but I cannot tell which line refers to each variation. The funny thing is that a couple of the variations are reported correctly, but the rest are in this vague list.

The images in the link below show screenshots of the product listing: (1) variations of 2 of the products (Moisturizing Cream and Seasonal Raw Honey) not displaying variation name and SKU, and down the list, (2) the variations of these 2 products that do show the way I would expect all of them to do.

Oddly enough, if I look at sales for last quarter (Q4) and so far this quarter, all of the variations of products sold are displayed correctly

Can anyone shed some light on this? Is there a way to recover this info without losing what data we have? Is this a bug in the WooCommerce sales data base? I cannot think of anything we have changed in our product listings over the 3 quarters we have been using WooCommerce.

  • Hi there @sandycsj ??

Thank you for reaching out about this:

Sales by Product not showing variations

This is odd, so I went ahead with testing on my end, without being able to reproduce it. Below is the screen at Analytics > Variations of my test site:

As showcased, variations register as expected, with their SKU. Went ahead with trying SKUs that include - and not.

Just to clarify, the data stays like this (empty SKU), when exporting to view in a CSV editor?

Can you share any further details on this? Can it be duplicated?

Looking forward to your response, cheers!
