Sale Prices not Working for Composite Products

?Composite product (bikini) is made out of two products (top and bottom) which are both in the sale at ￡25 each, with the whole bikini at ￡50. When adding to basket the total price shows at ￡100. We think it might be adding the total price of the bikini, plus the tops and bottoms individually. We found that the price worked when logged into wordpress but not when not logged in i.e. when customers use the site. Composite products without sale prices worked at the correct price at checkout. Standard, single products on the site work at sale price and at full price at checkout.
We ran updates on wordpress and plugins to the latest version and found that the composite products wouldn’t work at all – options for tops and bottoms were not there so were unable to add to cart.
We restored to the older versions and removed the sale prices as a temporary measure so they can still be featured on the site.We have the premium version of the plugin but it was installed a few years ago.
