    Dear team,

unfortunately the discounted prices to not sync to Facebook.

Last year it was working, as every time a product went into special offer sale, it would pop up on the Facebook feed and show the new price.

Now it is not posted to the feed anymore and also does not show the special price in the catalog.

    How can this be fixed?

    Kind regards

    Becky

    Dear Igor,

thank you for your fast reply.

I checked the thread but could not really find a solution that is applicable to my case. From my understanding the thread dealt with struggles caused by another plug-in which was used for the discounts.
In my case the discounts are directly entered in WooCommerce through updates.

(However: I did check as mentioned the catalog manager. It shows the field “price” and “offer price” but both have just the regular price value.)

Also the mentioned filter-code does not seem to work, as another user pointed out some flaws that affect the non-disocunted products?

Please correct me if I am wrong!

    Best regards

    Hi @beckily,

I understand the sale price is not syncing correctly to Facebook.

Can you please go to a specific product where the sale price is set up and then click on “Reset Facebook Metadata” on the right sidebar (Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/fm3cJl ) and run a manual sync to see if the Sale price is updated correctly?

Thanks! Looking forward to your reply!

    Hello @sandipmondal ,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I followed your instructions.
Unfortunately the problem could not be resolved through this process.

    Hello,

    Sorry to hear about this.

Can you share screenshots of the product settings related to the product that is not working as expected, also how does it appear on Facebook?

For screenshots you can use https://snipboard.io, also you can redact any sensitive details you would not like to share publicly.

    Thanks.

    Hello Igor,

since it affects all products that have a discount price I am not sure what exactly I should screenshot.
Could you perhaps guide me tp the settings information you need?

    Kind regards

    Hi @beckily

In this instance any product impacted by this issue would work for the requested screenshots, we’d like to see how one of the products appears in Facebook and would like to see the settings for the product when viewing it from your WooCommerce dashboard under the “products” tab.

Hopefully, this helps clarify but please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns!

    Hello again,

after observing the problem for a little while, it seems like there are more issues than only the sales prices not being synced.

Additionally some new products are published in a draft status. All edited data like picture, name changes etc. are not showing up in FB and Insta.

Furthermore old products that have been deleted in WooCommerce ages ago are still appearing in the Facebook shop.

Should I open a separate thread for all theses issues or do you think it is all connected and can be solved all together?

    Kind regards

    Hello @beckily

I understand that there are other issues raised aside from the sale prices not being synched.

Aside from the requested screenshots earlier, in order for us to understand your site properly, can you please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

Furthermore, please also provide us with a copy of the Fatal Error logs from WooCommerce > Staus > Logs, if there is any.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello @xue28

Thank you for your reply. Where can I upload the report in a more private setting rather than openly in the forum? Or is there a certain part of the report that you require so that I could post only an excerpt?

For the other log: I could not find any fatal error log, so I hope there is no problem on this side.

Regarding the screenshots: I will upload them in a second post.

    Kind regards

Here are two images of an exemplary product where the sale prices are not synced to Facebook. The products that appear in FB without a picture have the same settings etc., (just like all products that worked in the past), therefore I did not attach a picture of them additionally.

On a further notice, I noticed that recently no updates to our Woocommerce Shop were posted automatically in the FB feed of our followers.
In the past every single update, was announced as “Company XY added a new product to their shop”. At times this was a bit much, as even products which just had a change in stock levels where announced this way. But now there is no info for the customers about new stuff at all – so we prefer the old ways of “too much” in comparison to the current status.
