• Hello,

So we have a system that automatically via REST API sets variation sale price, start date and end date. WooCommerce starts and ends the sale correctly, so the price of products after sale are back to normal.

But these products still show up on the sale page, with their old non sale price. We figured out that one way to fix this is to change sale price to nothing, but doing this by hands is going to be annoying, since the client sets like 50+ products for sale, and all of them have around 4-6 variations. I have an idea for how to do it via REST API, but that will be very slow.

So I’m wondering if this is some kind of bug, or if someone else has an idea for a simple solution. Anything would be helpful.

    Thank you in advanced.

    Hi there,

That sounds odd indeed and I’m wondering whether caching is at play here? When updating the price through the regular route in the WordPress admin area, it usually flushes the cache from caching plugins as well. Are you seeing the same thing when caching is disabled? Have you checked whether your caching plugins also have a REST API to trigger a cache flush?

At the moment we aren’t using any chaching plugins, since the page is still in it’s development stage and internal testing. There is no caching on apache2, so I’m not sure, I believe WordPress doesn’t have any caching out of the box.
