• I rejoiced when I decided to jump into using this plugin. I had green marks from Google Insights and others, and everything seemed to run good. I was able to see the custom script the plugin spits out in the source of the page and everything. Problem is, I went the last 3 months without bothering with analytics, making use of most WordPress’ own stats. Then the other day I go back and find out that Google Analytics wasn’t reporting anything from the site. I tried everything, but nothing would work. So I scrapped the plugin and dropped the normal GA code into the footer and everything has been working since. Doh ??

Maybe it was a clash with WP Fastest Cache or something, who knows. It just didn’t work for me ??

  • CAOS works great with WP Fastest Cache, both free and premium.

Odd. Maybe it was something else that caused it or a glitch in the matrix. It seemed to be working when it was first installed. However it must have stopped soon after that based on the long window of dead silence in GA.

    It is odd!

If you want to resolve it, I’d be more than willing to help.

You’ve never received a notice that your analytics.js file is outdated?

Never, and always had notices within the admin screen in green from CAOS mentioning that it was successfully run or updated (can’t think of the exact text).

I can’t switch back now as now I have something where I need GA data to show for something and now have nothing to show.

The only other thing I can think of that is unique about the WP install is that the cron is handled by the server vs WordPress to preserve resources. That’s never been an issue though since the cron has never failed this way, and it runs every 15 minutes.

That’s why WP Fastest Cache (Premium) was the only thing that came to mind with all of its minification techniques. There is All In One SEO Pack, but its GA settings weren’t enabled during the use of this plugin. Jetpack.

Ok, fair enough. There’s nothing that comes to mind, that might’ve caused an issue. CAOS functions basically autonomous. So, there isn’t much that I can think of that could influence it.

Sorry to see you go! But there’s not much more to go on here. ??

Yeah, it could have just been a glitch in the matrix then. This is why I posted this here and not as a review.

    I appreciate it. ??

I have similar problem. The Plugin was working for several months, but some days ago i found that Google Analytics wasn’t reporting anything from the site. Checking everyday, even accessing site from several different ips, still no data – 0. I was in the site from 3 different devices and the real time data was 0.

Then i started digging into the problem, into this order

Checked cron status – CAOS_Setup->load_cron_script() – Twice Daily
    Changed the path to /uploads/caos/
    Switched to Assynchronous+Header
Uninstalled plugin+removing settings, then purged cache, then fresh install and default settings.

Nothing of this helped, i am stucked. I am using NitroPack plugin for cache control.

    I will appreciate any help
