Salary Field disappeared after update

Before the update, where did you add the code that added the salary field? To a core plugin file? Or to your theme’s functions.php?

If so, it might be wise to add it in a custom plugin or child theme, since those core theme/plugin files can occasionally be overwritten during updates.
