I realise this question may be weird to more evolved WP users. I however am a beginner, and I have anxiety disorder, so I have a tendency to worry easily. Hence I thought I’d just ask…

If I work on my site while being signed in to WP Admin (domain/wp-admin/) and I create a new page, let’s say, “biography”. I then go to the overview of all my pages and watch the newly created page. I copy the URL domain/biography and paste it on another page in my site, so that site visitors can navigate to the new page.
Since the page was created while being signed in into domain/wp-admin/, can site visitors clicking the link to domain/biography be signed in too and able to edit my site? Or is that impossible without knowing the password?

Somewhat similar, if I’m working on a new page and accidently copy its URL and paste it somewhere else on the website so that site visitors can navigate to it. If a site visitor clicks that link which I wrongly copy-pasted, can he too edit that page, or is it again impossible without knowing the password?

I realise this question may come across as weird, but keep in mind I’m a beginner (I hope I don’t use the wrong technique to copy and paste URLs of pages within my own site) and I have the tendency to worry a lot due to my anxieties. So I hope you understand why I’m asking this question.

    No.

    No.

You can test this by opening a second, private (or incognito) browser window and testing those URLs. (WP will see you as a different user.)

Thanks for your reply. Thanks for understanding anxiety disorder can make someone worried easily (especially when I’m new to something!)

Do I understand correctly that, no matter what link I copy-paste on my website while being signed in to domain/wp-admin, no site visitor can be signed in and edit my website without knowing my username and password?
