• Hello,
My team and I were recently told by a customer that he received a warning regarding the safety of our website. He said that when updating his cart (changing on item from having 3 to 2 in the cart) he received this warning. He did not proceed in ordering any items, but thankfully did let us know. We aren’t sure who to talk to regarding this problem, so we are asking everyone when we can. Would you guys have any idea as to why it would do this? My coworker has looked online at articles regarding how to make your website safe, and she said we have done everything that was mentioned.

In the past month we transferred our website to our new wordpress site. Since then our sales have gone down drastically and we have been trying to fix certain things that we think will help customers get to checkout. Our url is the same and we have redirected every link possible on Google. We don’t have any information too different on this one versus our old one, it just looks a lot different. We are thinking that maybe some people are getting this warning and turning away, so we would like to fix it as soon as possible.

    Thank you!

  • Hi Vbptrin,

First thing I have noticed is that there is no SSL certificate installed on your site. I would say for all ecommerce sites its essential to have SSL certificate installed. I have been using Wordfence plugin for security, the free version works great and would def recommend installing this as extra layer for security.

Okay, thank you! We are now looking at getting a SSL certificate from our host. I also activated that plugin so we will see how it does. ??

Thank you so much for the advice!

    Pleasure ??
