I’d love to let logged-in users benefit from caching, but I don’t want to cause any kind of mess with things like my WooCommerce storefront.

Would it be safe to simply enable caching for everyone, but then disable caching for pages with GET parameters? I believe that would prevent caching for pages involved in adding products to your cart or checking out.

And I could also just go a little further and disabling caching on the cart and checkout/account pages explicitly in the other options further down.

Would anyone with experience let me know if my idea is misguided?

  • That will all help. There will be lots of cache pages (one per user per page) but it will speed up things for users if they go back and forth between the same pages.
