safe to use bloginfo(‘template_directory’) whenever you need it?

    For everytime you need a static image in a page,
    is it a good idea to call bloginfo(‘template_directory’); everytime,
    or is it best to put the value into a variable.

    What I’m concerned with is server load, or am I just crazy?
