Safe SVG Not Compatible with WordPress 5.5 or Godaddy Hosting

  • Hi,
    As WordPress auto updated to 5.5 version. The internal server error 500 occurred. I found some essential plugins are not compatible with the 5.5 version. Safe SVG is also not compatible.Please help me resolve this issue ASAP. Is this also not compatible with Godaddy hosting.

    Hi @mehwishn,

    I’ve just tested Safe SVG with a fresh WordPress 5.5 installation and I’m not seeing any issues. Can you expand on the issue you’re seeing in your error logs?

    In regards to Godaddy hosting, unfortunately hosting environments are out of my control and any incompatibilities will need to be raised with Godaddy support.

    @mehwishn are you talking about the “tested up to” version of WordPress that’s noted on the plugin’s homepage (that currently states 5.4.2) and that you’re expecting that to state 5.5?
