Safari Users get logged-out

    Hi,
    all new Safari users get logged out after closing and re-opening Safari.

    If you create a new account in Safari you get auto logged-in(I have automatic login after registration activated), but after closing and re-opening the browser yo’re not longer logged into your account.

    This does not happen if I log into an already existing account and check “remember me”.
    This also doesn’t happen with other browsers.

    Solution approach:
    Can you add the “remember me” to a registration form?

    Hi @treelia ,

    I went ahead and checked this from my end but it seems that I was not able to replicate this issue. I used Mac Big Sur – Safari 14 and after logging in with the “Remember me” checkbox checked, then closing the session, my account was still logged in after opening the site again. However, like what you mentioned, this only works for the log in page.

    For the solution approach that you would like to have, I’ll proceed in escalating this as a feature request ??

    thank you for your reply. That would be a great feature ??
    But that’s not really satisfying to be honest because it really kills the UX for new users.
    Why does this happen?
    Why does this only happen with Safari?
    It’s clearly not intended to work in this way.

    I tested if this problem comes from other plugins, but this isn’t the case.
    Please advice.
