Safari reloads on submit causing DOM events to fail

Tested with Safari 9.1 on El Capitan using browserstack.com
Tested with my site as well as your https://contactform7.com/why-isnt-my-ajax-contact-form-working-correctly/ page. You will find that your demo page also reloads on submit when using the environment listed above.
Because of this, DOM events fail – I send Google Analytics conversion events as well as form data to our CRM.
Any planned fix for this behavior?
