Safari has unexpected functionality
-
Hi!
Recently checked out an old page of mine to find that the styling on the Beaver Builder page had been changed. Tried the page on another browser and it is fine.
Narrowed it down to the Beaver Builder “columns” approach having an issue with Safari in how it renders HTML elements. You will notice on the linked page that there are “3 columns” in the form, but the outer 2 are empty. (Used for centering purposes). These columns are floated left, and when we go in to the first column on the left, its being “displayed” above the center column. If I edit the css for this column to have padding or margin of 1px, the column then “appears” and the divs are centered again.
This is only occurring in Safari to my testing.
I don’t believe this was happening before, and couldn’t find anything posted. If this is a fixable issue or bug, otherwise, the definite work-around is to add padding and/or margin. The other browsers seem to handle this fine.
If you feel this isn’t a bug, you can close this. Thanks!
