Safari 3.1 & WordPress 2.5 compatability

    I recently upgraded to WP 2.5 and have got it up and running in Firefox no problem but when I come to view the site in Safari 3.1 I just get the background image and nothing else.

    Safari 3.1 seems to handle the themes differently. I have customized the default WP theme for my site but even the admin area when accessed via Safari doesn’t look the same as it does when viewed in Firefox.

    Does anyone have any ideas to why this is?

  • the backend looks fine for me (Safari 3.1).

    your site might miss a style sheet
    from your HTML source code:<style type="text/css" media="screen">

    Thanks for that – had accidentally deleted the closing style tag when editing the theme.

    Wierd that Firefox didn’t pick it up tho’ !?!
