  • Me too!

Yeah, it’s not working and the developer’s website isn’t resolving either. Sadly seems abandoned. I’ll reach out to the author on Twitter.

Fortunately, there are other plugins that can do the same thing. Just search for the “geolocation” tag.

Hey folks… apologies for the radio silence.
    I’ve been distracted making a living ??

I’m reviving the site (wpgeocode.com) and should have that back up today.

I’ve updated the database (GeoLite City) and initial testing on WP 4 looks good. I’d really appreciate any volunteers to do some additional testing before I release… comment here if and I’ll reach out via email with a pre-release version of 1.1.13.

I greatly appreciate any additional comments, feedback and suggestions for additional features. I don’t have tons of time – but I’m committed to ongoing support.

    Stay well,
    Mike

I’d like to explain my need for a plugin like this. If you can tell me that it would would for my scenario, I’d love to test out the updated version for you!

I have a company that has many locations (let’s say 10). I would like to display the proper local address (in the header and footer of the site) to users. So, if someone is within region A, they would be presented with the address of the location that services that area.

Do you think your plugin would do what I’m looking for? I’m running WordPress version 4.0. I need to get this implemented and working this week, so a fast reply would be awesome!

    Thank you!

    LindseyRae,

You can use <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[my-shortcode]’); ?> to insert a shortcode into your theme’s header. Let me know if you need more information on this.

    Regards,
    Mike
