    Hi,

    I installed the free version of the plugin to test it by backing up our site in our S3 service. Unfortunately, I saw that the S3 US East (N. Virginia) service that we use is not in the list. I used all other US S3 services that are provided and, although it found the bucket that I wanted to use, the backup always returns an error that the bucket does not exist!

    I really like your plugin and would like to purchase it but I need to know whether it will work or not. Can you please help?

    Thank you,

    Nick

    Hello again,

    I replaced the file and now it shows an S3 service [TEST] US East (Ohio) which is not the one that we are using. Besides that, I get an error message “The difference between the request time and the current time is too large.” And I cannot proceed with the backup. I’m living in Greece and our server is in the U.S. Maybe this is the case but this message appeared after the file replacement. When I installed the plugin it showed the buckets in our S3 account. Any ideas?

    @nicksak68
    Could you please try with US standard(the first one)
    Thanks!

    OK, using US Standard seems to be working, at least I don’t get an error that the bucket does not exist. But I do get errors. How can I send you the error report so you can help me resolve the errors?

    Thank you,

    Nick

    @nicksak68
    So your problem has been resolved?
    I think in the future better we will change the bucket name to S3 US East ??

    The problem has been partially resolved. Although I stopped getting errors that the bucket does not exist, the backup is not transferred and I do get the following errors:

    ERROR: Call to undefined method BackWPup_Job::is_backup_archive()

    ERROR: S3 Service API: The specified upload does not exist. The upload ID may be invalid, or the upload may have been aborted or completed.

    ERROR: Call to undefined method BackWPup_Job::is_backup_archive()
    ERROR: Step aborted: too many attempts!
    ERROR: Job has ended with errors in 347 seconds. You must resolve the errors for correct execution.

    I do see a message saying that the backup was transferred but when I click on the link provided (https://s3.amazonaws.com/Espavo/2018-07-11_02-26-09_7ZUE6V7501.tar.gz.) I get access denied errors.

    Any ideas?

    @nicksak68
    ah sorry for my late reply, Call to undefined method BackWPup_Job::is_backup_archive(),
    please reinstall the plugin and then try again.
    After that, let’s see if the issue is gone.

    Are you able to login to S3 dashboard then check the file?

    Thanks!
