• I have gone through all the file management and membership plugins and can’t seem to find what I am looking for.

I have a customer that is using wordpress and they need the ability to upload multiple files through the wordpress portal and through S3 and then have those file accessible only by a selected users.

I am going to use the same bucket but within that bucket they need a folder that matches up to the user and under that user folder they need to be able to build out any structure needed with files and folders and then display the root folder to the user and let them browse the files/folders and download them. Much like Windows Explorer and only giving a single user permission to a sub folder and then they have access to all the files under that sub folder.

This is for a architectural firm and want to display all the projects they have done for a customer and they host all the projects in sub folders for each customer.

If there is a plugin that gets me close I could really use the help. I have found file managers plugins that don’t use s3 and the s3 plugins I have found only allowing browsing of files and not an explorer like view that also shows the folders and files.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. This seems like a great option and we actually purchased it about 2 weeks ago but it isn’t working with our install (4.9.1). I have a support ticket open and they said they are working on it but I don’t have an ETA on a fix and we are under a tight deadline to get this working so I was looking for other options. I was going to list out everything we have looked at or tried but it is a long list at this point. Also with WP-Client, from looking at the screen shots it shows files only to the clients in a long list. I need to it in a folder / windows type explorer as the end user will have a lot of files and the client stores the files in a structure with the year and then multiple folders / files under each year. So if it is showing it in files only format then the client won’t know what year they are looking at. Thanks!
