• I am trying to implement the s2member list searchbox. I get it to display, but when I try to search, it tells me “Sorry, your search returned 0 results.” even though the member list (which I placed right below it) shows the person. I have tried searching with caps, full name, etc.

    my code is:
    ‘[s2Member-List-Search-Box /]
    [s2Member-List enable_list_search=”yes” orderby=”display_name” order=”ASC” exclude=”1,2″ show_fields=”job_title,organization, email” /]’

I also am not able to get the [levels=”0,1″ rls_satisfy=”ANY”/] to work. When I add more than one level, even with the rls_satisfy set to ANY, I get a message that there are no members to display. ?? I copied the code directly from this kb article.

I am testing this out before we launch the site. you can view the page here: https://s334783294.onlinehome.us/member-list/ Don’t pay attention to anything below the horizontal line, just ideas of code for future use.

Member search was a main feature we need and a reason we decided to purchase the Pro version.

I have tried searching online, in this forum and the old forum and didn’t find anything similar, so I apologize if it has been resolved and answered already.

  • I am in need of this too. I found the search will only look at the username field. It will not search by name email, or any other field.. does anyone know how to expand this beyond the username being the only item searchable?

The best way to get details on members is actually to use the AMR Users plugin. It works very well with s2Member, and its developer is very helpful about explaining different ways to use it.
