    When my customers click on the button to cancel their subscription, they are taken to Paypal where they either get the message “The unsubscribe button you clicked is invalid. You can find the status of all subscriptions in ‘My preapproved payments’.” if they are not already logged into their Paypal account or “No active subscriptions to [email protected] were found. You can find the status of all subscriptions in your transaction history.” if they are already logged into their Paypal account.

    The subscription to the site is still active in Paypal when they look at their list of preapproved payments, payments continue to go out and they are still listed as a paid member on the site. I have talked to Paypal and the issue is not at their end.

    I’ve read similar issues on the forum, but there’s little information and the solutions suggested don’t work to fix the issue for me. Here’s some info that might help:
    1) My merchant ID is entered into S2Member and is accurate
    2) My Paypal API details are entered and are accurate
    3) This has worked before, but I’m not sure when it stopped working
    4) S2Member logfiles show nothing
    5) My Paypal email is entered into the Paypal options in S2Member and is accurate
    6) When sent from my site to Paypal, the accurate Merchant ID is in the URL
    7) WordPress and the S2Member plugin are up to date
    8) I have turned off all plugins and it still doesn’t work, so it’s not a plugin interfering.

    Can someone please help? I have unhappy customers wanting refunds for being charged when they thought they’d cancelled – yikes! Thank you in advance!
