• I am having some issues with site speed whenever I install S2Member. Once I activate the plugin my site load time (according to Pingdom) jumps from about 1-2 seconds to anywhere from 6-10+ seconds.

I have also tried S2Member with the only other plugin activated being BuddyPress and I was still experiencing slow downs.

I have tried minifying the css / js with W3 Total Cache, but that doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Is there any way I can speed this plugin up?

  • I agree, it does slow site load time. I can see it in Firebug.
Great plugin though… would be perfect if faster performance.

Ditto, I did the same thing as @fanoop and went to Pingdom and saw my clients site loading at 6-10 secs. However, I did not notice it right away and only noticed it about 3 weeks in.

Has anyone found a fix for this? Otherwise I am going to have to find another solution to s2Member. Besides, I was not impressed when it was all installed, and realized that you can only do one Click pay items, and not Shopping cart. If a user wants to buy more than one item, users have to pay and come back and pay again.
