s2Member secure file download link doesn’t work when clicked on

  • I have followed all the guidelines properly and put 7 pdf files in the s2member folder. Generated the secure links and arranged them in the downloads tab in the primary menu. When a logged in user (level zero being enough) clicks on the link the site gives the membership options page. But when the link is copied and put directly into the URL, it downloads the file.

    Where am I going wrong?
