• I’ve recently tried to incorporate Buddypress with my S2Member Pro installation. I tried to follow the video here:

    https://www.s2member.com/kb/buddypress-s2member-video/

After following it and turning “off” open registration I tried to include the relevant code to overwrite this, as I want to allow people to register for free. I’m only trying to shield particular content, but all the user profiles should be alike. This is the code I tried to use to overwrite the open registration feature, as explained in the video:

    [s2Member-Pro-PayPal-Form register=”1″ level=”0″ ccaps=”” desc=”Signup now, it’s Free!” custom=”congressmaker.com” tp=”0″ tt=”D” captcha=”clean” /]

However, posting that on the relevant registration page I never see anything show up when I log out to see if it’s working. If I change “open registration” to “open” I get the below on that same page but with no actual fields to fill in for registration.

Registering for this site is easy. Just fill in the fields below, and we’ll get a new account set up for you in no time. Account Details Username (required) Email Address (required) Choose a Password (required) Confirm Password (required) Profile…

This is the error message I receive if “open registration” is turned off, as it says to do in the video even though I’ve posted the code to “overwrite” this.

“User registration is currently not allowed.”
