    Tried updating S2Member from 140105 to 040328, but received a number of warnings (see below). I now see there is a vs 140109. I downloaded it to my computer, but am at a loss as to how to install it on the server.

  • Those warnings aren’t specific to s2member. They are the generic warnings that WordPress spits out when it has a problem upgrading (and they can occur when upgrading WordPress itself).

    You need to upload the s2 Pro update via FTP. To do that, first unzip the file you have downloaded so that you have a folder called s2member-pro. Then upload that folder in place of the folder with that name that’s already installed.
