• Hi,

I am currently setting up s2Member PRO and have added a Level #4 access form to a page. But I also see options for different creditcards and a billingaddress fields.

I only want people to pay through PayPal so I don’t want their creditcard information. That kind of information is, in my opinion, way to vulnerable to have stored on my site. So how do I remove it?

Also is the Billingaddress information needed for paying with Paypal?
I read on the old forums that it might not be needed. If not, how do I remove it?

  • First, that information is not stored on your site. It’s stored only by the payment processor.

Second, you need to have an SSL certificate on your site to make sure such data is encrypted. Without such a certificate, you shouldn’t be using the Pro forms anyway.

If you follow these measures, and use s2Member to force SSL (as you must), financial transactions on your site will be secure.

Do you still want to just have PayPal?

I will be using SSL to secure the checkout part but I am only in the starting fase of design and implementing s2Member :-).

The use of creditcards is very limited in my country so I’ll stick to PayPal for now.

I might add Visa and Mastercard in the near future.
